Anti-Hamas protestor brutally murdered by the terrorist group
After thousands of Gazans boldly protested against Hamas last week, Hamas has begun exacting revenge. On March 29, Hamas brutally murdered a 22-year-old dissident, Uday Nasser Saadi al-Rabbay, torturing and mutilating his body before throwing him off a tall building. Several days earlier, Uday had stood up inside a coffee shop in Gaza City and loudly denounced Hamas. His mother and siblings found his body, and on his clothes, Hamas had pinned a note: “This is the price for all who criticize Hamas.” Former Philos Senior Research Fellow Hadeel Oueis reported on the story with the Center for Peace Communications and The Free Press. To those in the West supporting Hamas thinking you are doing Palestinians a favor: you’re doing the opposite.
Trump sets a two-month deadline for Iranian nuclear agreement
The Trump administration’s maximum pressure campaign is in full swing against Iran. In recent weeks, Washington not only imposed harsh sanctions against the Islamic Republic but gave Ayatollah Khomeini a two-month deadline to negotiate a new nuclear agreement. If Tehran does not agree to talks, Trump promised consequences. Those potential consequences are taking shape. In the past week, the U.S. sent multiple B-2 Spirit stealth bombers to a base in the Indian Ocean in striking range of Iran’s nuclear facilities. The B-2 Spirit can carry 27,000-pound bunker-buster bombs, one of the only weapons capable of penetrating Iran’s underground nuclear sites. Why the urgency from the administration? Because Iran is on the verge of developing a nuclear weapon. A nuclear-armed Iran would not only degrade nonproliferation efforts but would also give Iran and its terrorist proxies a nuclear umbrella under which to act. Trump’s maximum pressure approach combines economic and military deterrence to make Iran’s aggression so costly that the Islamic Republic must reverse course. We pray the regime will choose life instead of death.
