The Philos Action League: Internship 

The Philos Action League is seeking an intern to assist with research related to antisemitism and network outreach to promote engagement with our members.

The Philos Action League is a membership community of Christians who are committed to showing up, physically, in solidarity and friendship with the Jewish community when an act of antisemitism happens. When an antisemitic incident occurs, we call on members local to that community to respond by taking white roses to those affected in the Jewish community. Our goal is to build relationships between local Christian and Jewish communities to be able to stand up against antisemitism together.

Qualifications: 
Passionate about & knowledgeable of the Jewish community, antisemitism in the US, and Israel
Work well in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in various social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, & Facebook
Comfortable communication skills contacting people via email, text, and phone

Responsibilities: 
Researching various topics affecting the Jewish community in the U.S.
Staying current on events regarding Israel & organizations working in the space
Notifying PAL members of antisemitic incidents in their area / activating the network
Hourly Pay & Internship Details:
This is a semi-remote internship that pays $15 per hour. Preference for someone local to NYC. The internship will require 15-20 hours of work per week. The internship will commence as soon as possible and last until December 15, 2023. Possibility for extension conditional on performance and need.
