June 3, 2022 - An IKR synagogue office in LA was vandalized and defaced with swastikas on its windows. In response, a Philos Action League member delivered flowers to the offices.
August 24, 2022 - After the windows were broken at the USC Hillel student center, a PAL member took a bouquet of white roses and a note to the center, expressing our support and solidarity with the Jewish community.

April 23, 2022 - An anti-Israel rally took place in Tampa, calling Israel an apartheid state and its existence a violation of human rights. In response, PAL members toured local Jewish museums or memorial sites.
August 1, 2022 - After a Neo-Nazi protest was held outside a convention center and antisemitic flyers were distributed in a Jewish neighborhood in Tampa, a Philos Action League member brought a bouquet of white roses to the Tampa Jewish Community Center.

Illinois Investment Policy Board Meeting
December 22, 2021
Numerous pro-BDS protestors were coming to protest the Illinois Investment Policy Board Meeting because the board was going to move forward with removing investments from Unilever due to Ben and Jerry's decision to boycott selling its products in certain parts of Israel. Two members showed up to represent the Philos Action League and support Israel and the Jewish community in response. The Illinois Investment Policy Board decided to continue sticking to their decision to remove investments from Unilever.
PCUSA webinar to deliberate if Israel is an apartheid state

PCUSA held a webinar to debate whether Israel is an apartheid state with the executive director of Amnesty USA and Jonathan Kuttab. We had 15 -17 attendees sign up to ask questions and challenge the apartheid narrative, forcing the event's cancellation.

The Philos Action League showed up with multiple partner organizations outside the Presbyterian Church center in Louisville, KY, to protest an overture that would harm Christian-Jewish relations.
PAL engaged with those entering the assembly and asked them to reject antisemitism. Unfortunately, the committee on International Affairs voted to pass the resolution that calls Israel an apartheid state. In addition to our protest, the Philos Action League drafted a letter with 15 other Christian and Jewish organizations to condemn the language of the overture. The letter also e the Presbyterian Church (USA) to reject this ideology as it seeks to divide the Christian and Jewish communities, is antisemitic in nature, and can harm the Jewish community in the United States.
Montgomery County adopts IHRA definition of antisemitism

We joined an email campaign to help the Montgomery County Council vote to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism after hearing from activists and PAL members.

After antisemitic flyers were distributed among neighborhoods in the Minneapolis area, a PAL member brought a bouquet of white roses to the Jewish Community Relations Council to show our support for the Jewish community.

Antisemitic flyers were found near synagogues and community centers in Omaha, NE. The flyers contained references to the Goyim Defense League, an antisemitic group in CA that distributes antisemitic and racist flyers and messages online. Philos Action League member Thomas delivered a bouquet of white roses to Beth Israel Synagogue to show our solidarity with the Jewish community.
Responses in New Jersey
April 11, 2022 - Two Orthodox Jewish men were attacked on Lakewood, NJ. One was rammed by a car and the other stabbed. Both were taken to the Jersey Shore Medical Center. In response, two PAL members delivered roses to the medical center.
December 8, 2022 - PAL member Patricia Rivera joined a vigil in Jersey City commemorating the 2019 kosher market attack where four people were killed.

February 18, 2022 - Anti-semitic graffiti was spray-painted outside the Israeli restaurant Miriam in NYC. The following morning, PAL showed up in solidarity with a bouquet of white roses and patronized the establishment to show our support. FOX5 News interviewed Philos Deputy Director Luke Moon about the incident.
February 26, 2022 - The Philos Action League held a service event with Nazareth Christian Fellowship. We packaged and distributed meals to the local homeless community and homeless shelters. We then marched in solidarity and friendship to the Chabad headquarters to show our support for the Jewish community. We met with Rabbi Chazen, who spoke to us about the Chabad community, and interacted with the Jewish community.
April 4, 2022 - Near 58 Gerry Street in Williamgsburg, NY, six teenagers beat a Jewish man over Shabbat. He was in traditional attire, so he was identifiable as Jewish. One of our PAL members delivered roses to the site of the incident and filmed a short video explaining what happened and why we showed up.
April 5, 2022 - Six Jewish teens were threatened by another group of teens with swords and crowbars for the sole fact that they were Jewish. A PAL member delivered roses to a spot where the teens were threatened and filmed a short video explaning what happened and why we show up.
April 20, 2022 - An anti-Israel rally took place calling Israel apartheid and calling its existence a violation of human rights. Three PAL members attended as a counter-protest.
July 22, 2022 - A Jewish congressman running for Governor had campaign signs vandalized with swatiskas across Long Island. PAL sent flowers to his office along with a letter showing support and letting him know that we as Christians want to stand up against antisemitism.
August 8, 2022 - An anti-Israel protest took place in Grand Central protesting Israel's response to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorism. Participating groups included JVP, SJP, and WithinOurLifetime. A group of 6 PALs led the counter-protest.
August 18, 2022 - After Hilter graffiti was found on a Brooklyn synagogue, a PAL member responded by delivering roses and a note.
August 19, 2022 - PAL member responded to antisemitic flyers distributed in a neighborhood in Long Island with flowers and a note.
October 6, 2022 - PAL member delivered flowers to Yeshiva University where Jewish students were threatened.
October 16, 2022 - Member delivered flowers to a Sukkah on the Upper West Side in New York City that was vandalized with antisemitic grafitti.
November 9, 2022 - PAL member delivered flowers to a synagogue where members were attacked outside of the congregation.
November 10, 2022 - PAL member delivered flowers and supported a Jewish owned business that was sent a letter with antisemitic propaganda.
November 17, 2022 - On the anniversary of Kristallnacht, bricks were thrown through the windows of two Kosher restaurants in NYC. Kristallnacht, named after the shattered glass of destroyed Jewish property, was a pogrom against Jews across Germany and Austria on November 9, 1938. In response to this antisemitic attack, PAL member Patricia Rivera brought white roses to Saba’s Pizza to express solidarity and support for the Jewish community.

A gunman in Colleyville, TX, took hostages at a synagogue during Sabbath services and held them for hours. One of our partner organizations, Passages, organized a prayer meeting to pray and support the Jewish community in Colleyville.
Responses in D.C. Metro Area
January 28, 2022 — Numerous swastikas were painted all over the Union Station in Washington, DC. Several members of the Philos Action League showed up and put white roses under the graffiti along with signs stating our solidarity with the Jewish community. Our team continued communicating with the MTA to ensure they removed the antisemitic graffiti.
October 13, 2022 - George Washington University had antisemitic posters put up around campus as well as anti-Israel protests in front of the Hillel Jewish Student Center on campus. One of our PAL members that is a student at GWU brought a note and roses to the Hillel center on campus.
October 21, 2022 - A PAL member delivered flowers to the Chabad at George Washington University in response to anti-Israel graffiti.
November 11, 2022 - A PAL member delivered flowers to a Chabad in a neighborhood where antisemitic flyers were distributed.
November 18, 2022 - For several weeks in November, antisemitic fliers were found across George Washington University. PAL member Joe delivered white roses to GWU Chabad to express our solidarity and support for the Jewish community.
December 18, 2022 - Antisemitic graffiti was found at South Riding Shopping Center in Loudoun County, VA. In response, PAL member Daniel brought a bouquet of white roses to Congregation Beth Emet.
