Philos remembers October 7th in Washington, D.C.

On the one-year anniversary of the October 7th Hamas terror attack, the Philos Project gathered Americans from all backgrounds and religions on the National Mall to remember the victims, survivors, and heroes of the October 7th Massacre and call for the release of hostages still held in Gaza.

This significant event drew speakers from across the political and cultural spectrum, including Senator JD Vance, President of the Heritage Foundation Kevin Roberts, former Governor Scott Walker, Egyptian-Muslim writer Dalia Ziada, Israeli Olympian AJ Edelman, First Nations Chief Joseph and Laralyn Riverwind, and Omer Netzer, father of hostage Sagui Netzer, among others.

In Vice-Presidential Nominee Senator JD Vance’s speech, which The Philos Project helped draft, he stated, “Around the country, there are pro-Hamas protestors around the country calling for a ceasefire. What they’re really calling for is a unilateral surrender. I have a different message. The only way this war is going to end is when Hamas gives up its arms, stops the fighting, and lets the hostages come home. That is the way to end this conflict.”
